Texas ranked third in the nation for homes sold to international buyers in 2019, and nearly half of all foreign homebuyers in Texas came from just three countries: Mexico, Canada and India.

Earlier this year you heard about real estate in Mexico, so in this video you’ll hear from CIPS Instructor and President of FIABCI’s Canada Chapter Azizali Kanjee about how real estate is practiced in Canada and India, how it varies from Texas, how to best serve clients from those countries, and how to broaden your business by marketing to those clients. Plus, hear about how the COVID-19 virus has affected these countries, and what that might mean for real estate in Texas.

About the Instructor:

Active in the real estate profession for over 45 years, Aziz has extensive experience in both residential and commercial real estate. He is also a mortgage and finance broker and is involved in international trade, development, and franchise management. 

Mr. Kanjee is also a well-respected instructor, having instructed for several real estate organizations including the Ontario Real Estate Association, the Real Estate Institute of Canada, the Canadian Real Estate Association and the National Association of REALTORS®. He holds numerous real estate designations including Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (FRI), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Real Estate Instructor (REI), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Certified Business Counselor (CBC), and Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP).

Mr. Kanjee has been a speaker at several international conferences, including the National Association of REALTORS®, FIABCI, AREAA, and other international seminars and conferences on Canadian and International Real Estate.
