The easiest way to improve your listing presentation? Get to the point.
Put your conclusion at the beginning of your presentation. It sounds counterintuitive, but starting with your strongest point can make your presentation more memorable and effective.
Knowing upfront what conclusion you’re working toward frees up your audience to process the details without distraction. They know where you’re heading and can connect the dots earlier and ask better questions when applicable.
This trick can also save you if you tend to ramble. Well-rehearsed, data-dense presentations can also benefit from a concise summation at the beginning.
I totally agree with this approach….and have been doing it for some time.
Sellers want to get to the point as quickly as possible.
Now, that is good advice.
Very good point. When I listen to a sales pitch I always rush the sales person to get to the conclusion. I want conclusion first, then the pitch. I may re-think my presentation.
I get to the point fast, but I show them comps first. I let those comps speak for themselves before I talk value.
